Today was the first day we decided to just hang out around the pool area.
The temperature was agreeable at 21C and we found a nice spot out of the breeze but in the sun and had a quiet time either reading or listening to music.
Marion and Mike had a spell in town but we just lapped up the lovely weather. We each had a drink or two from the pool bar. I mean, what’s not to like about a large beer for £2.94 or a smoothie for £4.12?
They had some aqua aerobics at the pool but we weren’t
inclined to join in. One surprise we did get was that we found a bottle of
bubbly delivered to our room. Was it
because we had been upgraded to s suite, or because we had complained that the
low-level lights outside our room weren’t working and that they hadn’t been
repaired since we last mentioned it or was it just a mistake? Well, whatever the reason it was very nice.
Marion was having a nap, so Mike came to our room to help us get through our
bottle.
